Portals is an ongoing project originally started in 2018. It was designed to portray a doorway, or a bridge between what is real, and what was or could be real. It was inspired by a brightly lit alleyway I walked by one night. Since then, I’ve imagined “portals” to nowhere in places I normally couldn’t, and the series was born.

The physical portal itself is made of a custom cut diffusion sheet. We’ve even built a unit to carry anywhere, which will be featured in upcoming Portals pieces.
